It’s pretty important to know some solid places to eat in a city. At least that’s what I believe. Here’s some of my picks in no specific order:

Toronto

• Mama Fatma (fancy, like once in a while kinda fancy)
• Efendi (Bayview)
• Konak
• Darband
• Demetres (best dessert place in Toronto, especially Shops at Don Mills)
• Helvaci Ali (Ridgeway)
• Al Forat Shawarma (Ridgeway also 🤪)
• Alpha’s Shawarma (the one in front of Shopify, soooo goooood)

Waterloo

• Roosters - Waterloo (OG spot, UW classic)
• Kabob Hut (lamb shank is my favourite)
• Kabob Shack (Joojeh is a must try)
• Burger Factory (better burgers)
• Gladiator Burger (better milkshakes)
• Canadian Istanbul
• Arabesque

Dubai

• Cheesecake Factory - Dubai (OG halal one, milkshake is my favourite)
• Ibrahimi (iykyk)

Oman

• Kempinski - The Kitchen (the buffet is honestly worth it)
• Irani House
• Meat Moot (go here hungry and early)
